Dykstra Christmas Party

Well Christmas is in full swing. We had a great time at the Dykstra Christmas party. We rented out a gym and ate good food and of course played little basketball, hockey and football. Kyle made two forty footers with the mini football into the playschool kid’s basket. Amazing.

Christmas Party at Dad and Mom Z

We had a great time at Mom and Dad's. As usual there was no shortage of gifts. The highlight was the workout wear Mom found at Calvin. Don't think I will be wearing the combo too often. For more pics click the slide show on the right.

Costa Rica

We had a great vacation in Costa Rica. We chilled by the pool; ate fantastic food; zip-lined over the rainforest; 4 wheeled on the beach; fished in the pacific....and then the last night Diane got dreadfully ill. She had to take an IV right before we left because she was so dehydrated. Later that week I also went down. There’s nothing like a little Cipro to get you back on your feet.

Brothers

In September I spent 4 days with my brothers in Snowmass Colorado. What a great time!!! Even though we didn't have our ladies we didn't lack tasty food. Johnny was always whipping up good grub in the kitchen. Thankfully the elusive trout was not elusive these days; aggressively taking nymphs and occasionally even hitting our attractors. Benny even caught a few on a #18 blue wing olive. Most fish were 16-18 inches with a few pushing 20. I don't want to brag, but I think I out fished them all. For more pics see the slide show.
